Stewart Hall holds an Economics and International Relations degree from the University of Waterloo and a Master’s degree in Political/Strategic Studies from Queen’s University.
Mr. Hall has been analyzing, writing and speaking about foreign exchange and fixed income markets since the mid 1990s, in the role of Economist and Market Strategist (rates and forex) for such firms as James Capel, Cassels Blaikie & Co., HSBC Securities Canada, and RBC. During this time, Mr. Hall was frequently called upon by newspapers, newswires, and radio, to provide market context and macro economic commentary.
He was also a regular guest on BNN television. Having left the financial services industry in 2012, Mr. Hall remains active in capital markets trading foreign exchange, commodities and expressing thematic ideas through equity markets.
